Heart Project
Around 2016, my family’s babysitter (Alex Krohn) started a project called the Love Heart Project. Alex began this project to honor her father when he passed away unexpectedly. This project is a movement created to honor people who have changed our lives and touched our hearts. This has become my passion too: to help others and change the world for the better.
My family and I have known Alex since I was a small child, and when she told us about the project in 2016, I started to notice more heart shapped objects around me. This got me thinking more about these heart-shaped objects, and I began to wonder if there was a deeper meaning behind them. I believe that when people leave the earth, they do not just go away. I think that they are still with us in spirit and send us little signs that they are still with us always. So, when I started noticing heart-shaped objects more, it felt like the people I had known before they passed away were sending them to me as signs to let me know that they’re still here for me. This project also resonated with my desire to give back to my parents.
